Venture One is seeking an experienced full-time Property Manager for our Rosemont office. This position will report directly to our Principals
What does the Property Manager do at Venture One?
- Prepare annual budgets, variance reports and monthly reporting
- Ensure properties are maintained at the highest level
- Track building maintenance contracts and annual inspections
- Request and review bids for all contract services, building and tenant improvement projects
- Oversee all service contracts and capital expenditures for assigned properties, including tenant work orders
- Distribute lease documents to all applicable parties
- Manage engineering staff
- Vendor invoice coding
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs
What do we look for in our Property Manager Candidate?
- Ability to work proactively and independently in a high-volume environment
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, vendors and other real estate professionals
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What are the basic requirements and expectations?
- 5-plus year’s experience in a property management role
- Experience with Yardi, Angus and MRI a plus, but not required
- Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Previous industrial real estate experience preferred
