Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Position Summary:
The Transaction Manager will work in our Washington, D.C. office with the capital markets team supporting (4) brokers. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Exclusive Listing/Pitch Book/Broker Opinion of Value (BOV)Transaction Management:
- Property due diligence document collection from client and internal file organization in project deal folder
- Project management of the drafting and delivery of completed offering memorandum work product to client;
- Directing a project team to complete the offering memorandum/pitch book/BOV on or before firm project deadlines established by the supervisor. The project team will include:
- Listing agents
- Supporting KLNB leasing agents
- KLNB graphic designer
- KLNB research staff
- Photographers
- Marketing software vendors (CoStar, RCM, etc)
- Client and supporting client staff
- Offering Memorandum/Pitch Book/BOV content creation
- Mark-ups of aerials
- Zoning overview
- Development pipeline summaries
- Executive summary content
Administration of transaction marketing software – Real Capital Markets platform
- Project management of all team marketing and PR initiatives
- Closing announcements
- Deal pipeline eblasts
- KLNB website content updates
- Deal trophies
- Marketing pieces
- Holiday client gift distribution
Attendance of weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline meetings
Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years direct experience in the sale, marketing, buying and/or selling, financing or fund raising of commercial real estate
- Direct experience in project management and directing a staff to complete a project within an established deadline
- Proven ability to lead and effectively manage people to work as a team to meet deadlines
- Direct experience in client and customer service;
- Established level of professionalism in a fast pace, highly competitive setting
- Must have a sense of urgency to complete projects on time
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines and proven experience prioritizing project tasks to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently as a project team leader and display assertiveness and leadership to overcome challenges and productively work through issues with project staff
