Director, Investment Systems

Greystar, the Global Leader in Rental Housing, is looking for a Director, Investment Systems to join a newly- formed Investment Systems Team. The Director, Investment Systems will lead the design, planning, coordination, implementation, training, and support of technology systems for our Global Investment Management group.

Key Responsivities:

• Partners with key business leaders to ensure business requirements are addressed appropriately by new or existing technology solutions
• Navigates the broader technology organization to help ensure compliance and consistency with the enterprise best practices and governance
• Ensures synergistic integration with or adoption of Enterprise or other line of business systems where appropriate
• Derives, defines, and delivers upon reporting requirements based upon business needs
• Leads technology projects to sustain and further advance the Global Investment Management line of business.
• Identifies, engages, negotiates, and oversees third-party partners as necessary on a project-basis
• Supervises team members by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees
• Manages performance of team members in accordance with Company policies, values, and business practices
• Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary

• Thorough working knowledge of end-to-end business processes facilitated by Investment Systems.

Experience and Education:

• Three years of experience in a similar role
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Investment Systems for a large global company preferred.
• Experience with Investment Management and Accounting Systems (i.e. Investran, Yardi IM, etc.) required
• ITIL or similar certifications preferred
• Bachelor’s in Information Systems or related field preferred
• Experience working with project management and documentation tools (MS Project, Clarizen, Visio, etc.)
• Experience in a project management role a plus
