Job Description:


Provide support to the Special Asset Management group, which includes the Consents group, Bridge/Floating Rate team, and Special Servicing.

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Consents Team including but not limited to:
    • Updating MAMP, CRT, and E!
    • Pulling legal documents for transactions being sent to counsel
    • Basic information gathering and input into forms for requests being sent to the Lenders/Master Servicers
    • Pulling data extracts from pertinent sources for monthly reporting
    • Assist in tracking down closing docs for closed transactions
    • Assist in managing Consent Team Inbox
  • Training to process basic/routine borrower requests including, but not limited to:
    • Change of management
    • Commercial leases/service agreements
    • Routine Easements
  • Excel modeling to calculate and track compliance for covenants in loan documents
  • Rent roll analyses
  • Review loan documents to identify/confirm loan covenants
  • Assist in collecting and centralizing deal level documentation (i.e. PSA, Offering Circular Memorandum, etc.) for newly awarded Special Servicing portfolio assignments
  • Provide support with regard to the periodic compilation of reports for the various Rating Agencies
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Special Servicing reports delivered to both internal and external parties
  • Work with Limited Sub-Servicing to ensure that Borrower financials have been received and remitted to the appropriate parties

 

Skills, Education and Experience: 

  • College degree or academic achievement in Real Estate, Law, Finance, Management, MIS/Computer Science
  • One to two years commercial of multifamily/CMBS loan asset management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills (underwriting/excel modeling, property operations, borrower financials and market performance)
  • Disciplined approach to diligent follow up through use of manual or automated tickler system
  • Strong PC skills, including a demonstrated strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 10-20%
