CBRE Global Investors, a top-tier global real asset investment manager, has an opportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Investment RFP Writer in the firm's Los Angeles Headquarters to support one of the strongest capital-raising teams in the industry.

The successful candidate will join a team of professionals responsible for writing proposals for new business and private placement memoranda, populating and updating consultant databases, and responding to various ad hoc requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sr. Associate, the RFP Writer provides overall project management for the development of RFPs, PPMs, questionnaires, surveys, ad hoc requests, consultant database inputs and other related documents for U.S.-based and global funds, endowments, trusts and their advising consultants. Responsibilities include establishing and managing timelines, leading kick-off meetings, submitting drafts for investment team and compliance approval, and finalizing the document for submittal to the client. The RFP Writer will:
Write responses to RFP questions, including using existing content and developing new content as needed.
Liaise with investment teams, shared resource teams and senior management.
Peer review documents and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
Proofread content and ensure appropriate formatting and branding.
Provide new content for the RFP database and help identify duplications and old material to be deleted.
Perform other duties as assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college/university and a minimum of two to six years of related experience and/or training.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires intermediate knowledge of the real estate investment management industry and a general working knowledge of real estate.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Ability to research information when no clear answer is provided. Ability to make coherent inferences from multiple data points and scattered information.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Strong writing skills with demonstrated ability to write RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other business development materials and reports in a pre-designed style and format. Advance skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
