BND Holdings, Inc. (www.bndholdings.com) is a family office, located in downtown Warren, NJ, that manages the Segal Family’s growing real estate, lending, investment and philanthropic interests. Our real estate holdings are located around the country and are primarily industrial with some retail and mixed use in New Jersey. We have consistently expanded our portfolio which is now in excess of 4,000,000 square feet. Our focus is on core-plus and opportunities where we can add value. BD Capital ( is a private lender to developers engaged in single family fix and flips and commercial redevelopment.
Our philanthropic organization Segal Family Foundation ( is a leader in working with small grass roots organizations doing work throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. We help these organizations grow and scale their impact.
We also operate the Focus for Health Foundation (www.focusforhealth.org) whose goal is to ensure that individuals have access to the information necessary to make optimal heath decisions for themselves and their families.
This role will encompass financial analysis across our various platforms creating a diverse, interesting and challenging work experience.
Key responsibilities:
General:
Maintain entity and personal financial statements
Run cash flows for existing entities
Review yearly property budgets
Assist in the financing of properties
Assist foundations on an as needed basis with financial evaluations
Perform ad hoc analysis
Property Acquisitions:
Prepare thorough cash flow forecasts and calculate investment returns for prospective acquisitions.
Modify valuation model to run sensitivities and develop pro-forma scenarios and pricing strategy.
Conduct market research and analysis.
Assist in preparation of reports for senior management review.
Provide transaction support including lease review, operating expense review, third party report review and coordination of documents for lenders/partners.
Investment Reporting:
Maintaining weekly and monthly reporting on investment accounts.
Assist in assembling high level asset performance review charts and graphs for annual updates to our partners.
Creating reporting on individual holdings.
Perform ad hoc analysis.
Take action to become a valued team member who furthers the initiatives of the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Real Estate, Economics, Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of relevant analyst experience.
Proficiency in excel is critical, including strong knowledge of detailed retail, industrial and mixed used modeling.
Understanding of general finance, accounting, leasing and capital market concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn financial analysis into concise written and verbal reports.
