Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Strategy Analyst will provide critical strategic and analytical support to Green Courte’s Portfolio Management team. Key responsibilities for this highly visible and impactful position include:

• Identifying value-add opportunities and developing detailed financial analyses to evaluate value-add opportunities
• Analyzing and executing strategic dispositions
• Evaluating refinancing opportunities with the firm’s Portfolio Management and Capital Markets teams
• Working with senior leadership to evaluate sector-level disposition strategies, including both private and public sector-level exits
• Identifying and investigating future, niche real estate investment strategies
• Working closely with Green Courte’s Operating Companies to:
  • Collaborate with key personnel to provide analyses that support strategic business decisions
  • Work on analytical projects to assist in understanding and improving the performance of the underlying assets (or companies)
  • Track industry trends and understand correlations with company performance
• Completing ad hoc projects and analyses as required
• Presenting and communicating results of analyses to senior leadership and other internal stake-holders

Experience and Qualifications:

• BS in real estate, finance, engineering or economics; minimum GPA of 3.5 preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an analyst for an investment firm, investment bank, consulting firm or other similar professional exposure
• Proficient in financial modeling tools, including excellent Excel skills
• Command of private equity and real estate valuation concepts, including DCF, IRR, NPV, cap rates, and replacement cost
• Experience with public market valuation concepts, including comparable analyses, NAV, etc. a plus
• Good financial acumen
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage and distill insightful conclusions from large volumes of data
• Exposure to SQL a plus
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented and ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Real estate experience is preferred
