Regency Centers is seeking a Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. The SVP, Capital Markets will assist the Chief Financial Officer in implementing capital markets and financial management strategies and will have overall responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing a strategic investor relations program. This position is responsible for communicating with current and potential Regency investors, “Wall Street” analysts, and senior banking professionals. The SVP, Capital Markets will oversee all aspects of co-investment partnerships including reporting, finance, legal, operations, and business development. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will also develop and manage Regency’s Corporate Responsibility and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) reporting strategy and initiatives including leadership of the Corporate Responsibility Committee.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic plan for investor relations to address the needs of the Company’s institutional and individual investors and security analysts
• Oversee the preparation of external communications to the financial community, such as quarterly earnings releases, conference call transcripts, supplemental materials, and road show presentations
• Assist the CFO in cost-effectively financing the Company’s growth needs, enhancing the capital structure and determining future strategies
• Assist in negotiation of, direct, and coordinate individual financial transactions including, but not limited to, equity and debt transactions, bank line and secured mortgage transactions.
• Lead Regency’s Corporate Responsibility/ESG program including the publication of Regency’s annual Corporate Responsibility report and other strategic initiatives
• Oversee co-investment partnerships, including portfolio management, asset management, accounting/reporting, capital markets and entity structures
• Identify and communicate issues internally, facilitate relationships, serve as operator liaison to external partners
• Perform necessary research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and dynamics; advise CFO accordingly

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management or similar discipline
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
• Ten (10) + years of progressively responsible financial management experience
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial statement analysis
• Knowledge of commercial real estate operations/finance/investor and analyst community
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Proven ability to network, influence, and create alliances with customers and other business counterparts
• Communication and presentation skills

Preferred:
• Real estate and public REIT experience
• Extensive professional and/or peer network
• Experience interacting routinely with the board of directors of a public company

Must possess excellent organizational, written & verbal communication and time management skills with ability to prioritize and  effectively handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines in fast paced environment. Must be comfortable handling conflict, remaining a calm influence in stressful situations
• Business Acumen- Able to develop strategy, articulate guiding principles, and drive appropriate outcomes. Energetic, creative and self-motivated individual who has a passion for understanding the business and contributing in a meaningful way to its business strategy and long term strategic goals
