Treasure Island Development Group (TIDG) is a company formed by affiliates of Stockbridge Capital Group (15B Real Estate Private Equity Firm, Lennar Corporation (one of the nation’s largest home builder) and Wilson Meany (prominent west coast developer). TIDG is the master developer for the long-term 5-billion-dollar master plan community project of Treasure Island. Additional information can be located at:

Treasure Island Development Group is seeking an Investment Analyst to join the team and to make significant contributions for this highly unique and elite development project. The individual will strengthen their financial modeling expertise, gain exposure to every aspect of real estate development, interact with internal and external key stakeholders including Partners and city officials – all of which will provide significant personal and career growth opportunities.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Manage project cash flow models and build new models for vertical construction of various asset types
  • Conduct analysis for capital funding and project cash flows by working with the TIDG Director of Development and Project Managers
  • Interact directly with lenders and capital partners
  • Conduct and analyze market research to evaluate prospective new investment opportunities or strategies; develop reporting based on analysis
  • Improve efficiency of process through constant recommendations, updates, revisions and/or creation of financial models, templates, and reports in response to current business issues
  • Interface with internal and external parties, such as design consultants, contractors, leasing/sales brokers, lenders, accounting teams, legal counsel, market contacts, TIDG Partners, and city officials
  • Responsible for ad-hoc analysis as requested by functional or finance leadership
Experience and Competency Requirements
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in finance, business, accounting, economics or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience preferred in investment banking, consulting, or accounting roles; a basic understanding of real estate finance preferred
  • Deep knowledge and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information in a compelling format
  • Proven experience with financial modeling; excel modeling; translating monthly cash flow, status of budget and input into financial modeling
  • Demonstrated executive presence to interact with Project Managers, city officials and Partners; ability to articulate outcomes of analyses
  • Proven out-of-the box and forward thinking
  • Demonstrated comfort with change and new processes
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects; with acute attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and Committees
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
