JOB SUMMARY

CBRE is deeply committed to our responsibility of supporting and adding value to the communities where we live and work. The Corporate Responsibility Manager will manage CBRE Cares, the company's volunteering and giving program, in the United States. This role will support CBRE's overall philanthropic efforts, including communications around those initiatives. The position requires a thorough understanding of corporate philanthropy best practices, including corporate foundations and employee volunteer programs. The CR Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to increase awareness of, and participation in, CBRE Cares programs.

This position reports to the Vice President, Corporate Responsibility.

Geography: National
Ability to travel domestically (up to 10%).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage CBRE Cares, the company's giving and volunteering program, in the United States.

Work with local CBRE Cares chapters to guide and support their charitable activities, including locally-organized fundraising and volunteering events.

Lead volunteering and giving data collection and management. Administer the company's volunteering and giving software platform (Benevity). Ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

Manage relationship with software vendor (Benevity).

Develop financial reporting statements for the CBRE Foundation.

Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with relevant charitable organizations.

Ensure that all policies and procedures that govern volunteering and giving practices are followed.

Partner with corporate communications team to increase awareness of, and participation in, CBRE Cares programs, as well as communicate impact of CBRE Cares activities.

Manages internal and external relationships in support of program. May contract and manage vendors.
May provide consultation on complex low to medium scale projects that integrate into an organized program.

Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum four years of related experience. Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

Minimum two years of experience managing corporate giving and volunteering programs that are funded by a corporate foundation public charity strongly preferred).

Experience developing financial statements for a corporate foundation.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
